Recorded message saying BT & that internet would be disconnected within 24hrs unless press 1 to speak to someone. Luckily my elderly mother who they called is pretty cautious about scams and checked with me. I got her to do 1471 & googled the number finding various reports of similar on BT forum.
James called from India and Claimed he was from BT as I had a BT server security issue and wanted me to log onto my laptop ..be very careful ..do not compromise and give access to your laptop etc !

Calls most days over the last few weeks. Left a message once about changing energy provider. Blocked the number but I get a notification every time they try calling.
Had a call from this number that hung up when I answered. I called back and got a message "Direct Solutions - all of our reps are busy, we will call you again in due course...

Calling constantly to try and sell tyres and cover to management and will get very shirty if you do nto put them through.
