Not sure if scam or something else more sinister but the sent me a message on WhatsApp saying “hey Rose” (not my name), “how are you?” and the profile was a picture was of a white male lying on the carpet with a baby. Creepy. This was a UK number and I live in the US
NHS NHS Immunisation Management Service Posted on January 22nd, 2021 The national NHS Immunisation Management Service is starting to call people that have received letters to book their COVID-19 vaccination appointments through 119 or www.nhs.uk, where they haven’t already booked an appointment. The number that people will see when receiving the call is 0300 561 0240.
Claiming to be from Opus saying that another business had received our meter reading on their bill and were complaining about the high amount they were being asked to pay. Given that our electricity usage is very low, this doesn't seem a likely scenario. Could not satisfactorily answer why if they had made a meter reading cock-up it was anything to do with us. Why would we need to be involved at all? Told them I was suspicious of the call and hung up.
