An Indian sounding guy called, at first claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and talking about blocking nuisance calls. He said he was confirming my details and gave my name and my previous address. He then told me I paid for my phone using direct debit. I asked him why he was asking. He then said he was calling from the Telephone Management Service (I noted the company name change and became more suspicious). SCAM - Extremely cocky and rude female claiming to be our account manager from BT. After speaking directly to BT we do not have an account manager. The lady was just calling to see 'How we were?' apparently. Time waster looking to switch you to one of their broadband suppliers when your out of contract no doubt.

Received a call from someone who claimed to work for Microsoft. Said I had a problem with my computer that he would help me to fix. Was very rude when I wouldn't cooperate with his instructions. I have had several of these calls in the past.
