I was called quite a lot by this number but as soon as I answered the phone, they hung up. It is just annoying!

Wanted to close accident insurance claim. Told them to contact my insurance company. Asked where information came from told "men in black . They then hung up! Very angry to receive this call.

Scam number from Russia
The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. With a call that early in the morning, I thought my son had been in a car accident or something :-(. Very unhelpful and distressing. No idea what's been going
