Just had a call from this number which just hung up. The screen showed the international version (0441729568147). I also dialled 1471 which actually confirmed the number as 01729568147. A check on the code on www.bt.com phonebook showed the code as being Settle which is North Yorkshire. I have programmed both numbers into my CPR Callblocker to hopefully block these calls. I gave the phone number the rating of harassing as this type of call is a pain to say the least.

This number has called several times leaving a message that I or my solicitor should get in touch as it was very important that I do. They called me this morning (12.9.17) and I rang back and was told that they are HMRC and I have defrauded paying my income tax for a period in the 90's. They kept on insisting that I should have received a letter from HM Revenue and Tax. They threaten me with court proceedings if I did not pay.
