Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Immediately suspected a scam, pressed to speak to an adviser and decided once more to play along. Male with foreign accent, as usual acting as if I had called in. Tried to order £140 worth of amazon gift cards from my account - posing as me.
Caller identified himself as Eddie Watts from "Clarity", PO box 3366 Northampton NN6 9WZ. I have had repeated calls from this company asking for various people who have never lived at my address. Each time I ask for my number to be removed from their records but the calls keep coming.
Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.
