Fraud A voice with an American accent told me they were from HRMC and I was "wanted" for fraud. They wanted me to call them...presumably to "help" me with this. I hung up as this is clearly not how the HMRC behaves and people are not "wanted" in this way in the UK.
Now called claiming to be British Gas and asking to supply gas and electric readings

Call centre, Indian man saying he was phoning from Currys PC World with mobile phone offers, then asked me which network I was on.

SCAM Took a few seconds to connect, did the classic ‘beep’ and then a computer-generated northern England accent greeted me with, “Hello, you’re through to Gabby. I’m your local energy advice provider. I understand you’re the home owner?” Block.
Suspected scammer tried to buy a car using PayPal.

Telling me that there O2 complaints about loss of signal and calls dropping. Then they ask do I have another number as my 02 number there calling me on is now a O2 number. Crazy Scam to get you on a different contract and get your bank details
Keeps calling with practical jokes, not very funny at 01.00 in the morning

Saying I was being over charged by Sky for my broadband. Didn't know my name or anything about my subscription so obviously a cold call

Yet another bank fraud call I am so sick of these calls. I sometimes act dumb and lead them on with false information then block them I am getting 5/6 calls a day from different numbers
