automated machine saying I had been selected for some. I quickly hung up.

Took money of me

This caller calls 4 - 5 times with a 2 hour period and when you tell them to delete your contact details from their systems. they repeat what they have already done

Ambulance chaser - "we would like to talk about your recent accident" (I have not had one!). Number may be genuine for someone but probably hijacked. Caller had Liverpool accent - not Staffordshire!

Arrived as a pop-up and froze my computer. Claimed to be Apple support and claimed my Facebook, credit card details, e-mail login, and photos were being stolen. Don't have Facebook or credit cards. Quit Safari and restarted computer. All good. Wouldn't call number.

This number rang me at 1102am today, did not answer as I did not recognise the number, and it is not in my contacts list. Thought it was a scam call and I may be right judging by the search results.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. The idea of the scam is to make the mobile owner not pick up, but cost them on their next bill. Even though the caller did not initiate the call, the phone company will state they did. call constantly for weeks but always missed the call as i was at work and they never left a message. answered the call last week and some guy in a call centre launched into the standard "we're calling about your accident" script, in interrupted him and said sorry but you've got the wrong information and asked him nicely to take my number off his list as i had a lot of missed calls from him, he just slammed the phone down! very rude.
