Text Message - from BT SMS. As a Vodafone customer this is being sent via my line to my router to pick up as a message. Unless I actually answer or get the message, the number keeps calling. Have asked for this to be stopped by Vodafone but unfortunately it still hasn't.
I have blocked this number but the company still somehow manages to leave voicemails every few days They never address me by my name and if they name the company I supposedly owe money to its an incomprehensible mumble quite possible as most of their messages are incomprehensible mumbling Scam or phishing

I was called from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. The number that appeared initially on my telephone was not the same as this one. This is clearly a scam.

The automated call says its from HMRC. It's designed to frighten you into selecting the option to be connected to a call centre. I didn't take it any further as it was clearly a very nasty, aggressive attempt to initiate a scam.

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(
SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Call pretending to be HMRC threatening legal action unless one speaks to an agent by pressing the number one. I did not do that as I suspect that would then be charged at an exorbitant rate.

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.
