Received an email from ' PAYPAL' about a fruadulent activity of £899.99 I contacted the above number and they sent me a 6 digit security number to my mobile and also told me my last 4 digits on my card !!! All seemed very legit..........UNTIL he told me he needed my full card number to put a stop on a further 12 transactions !!! I rejected his request which he seemed to start getting annoyed and agitated !! THIS SEEMS A VERY PROFESSIONAL SCAM DO NOT REPLY TO THEM .

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!
