DIGITAL SOLUTIONS MARKETING COMPANY Called the number back and you could select option 1 to no longer receive calls from them. However they shouldn't be using my number in the first pace as it's protected by the Telephone Preference Service. Hung up when I said I wasn't the person they were after - so rude and annoying. These companies should be made responsible for their actions and fined for doing such things.

Got a call from a man with strong northern accent he asked for me by name. He said that they believe that I had worked in a noisy environment. When I told him I hadn t he asked what jobs I had done since leaving school. He than asked if I had ever worked in a noisy job, I told him no, he then just cut me off. Call made from Liverpool but caller had a foreign accent, she tried to make me change my phone provider saying she could find a cheaper provider. elsewhere. She was very persistent even after telling her I had just signed up with another provider and was under contract. Said her name was Angela Mayer.

SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.

When I picked up and say hello, there was only recorded answer that I need to call back this number because there is important stuff from HMRC that I need to sort out. The end of the message was a threat that if I don't they will contact authorities. I just want to let you all know , that HMRC will never call you- they will ALWAY send you a letter. It is a SACM.

SCAM. Claimed to be from Sky, checking Broadband speed but then wanted me to log onto a website (nothing to do with Sky) and input personal info. Couldn't tell me my name, address, or any info to confirm that they were genuine, except for a Sky account number which was wrong. When I challenged the operator they started off defensive and then became aggressive and abusive.
Said it was a call from bt about my internet reporting something about unusual activities on my account, i was not convinced and ended call. They rang back twice more, which i declined to answer
