I am ex-directory, but I just had a phone call from UK Law. My advice is, if they ring you, dial 141 followed by their number, 01512219676, and make sure you have heavy metal music on full volume with your music speakers by the mouthpiece of your phone. It worked for me.

First bugged me this number with calls in which no one was in it. Later I was able to start a "conversation". The caller said that he is calling from the british household department and had a few general questions. I said that I did not have time and he just hung up.

They were obviously reading from a script, refused to tell me where they had got my name, phone number or the accident information from. I told them what I thought of them and they hung up !
