THIS was an automated call supposedly from visa debit department. As I do not accept normally get calls directly from visa I assume this was either a spam or scam call and put the phone down

I received an unsolicited call today from this number. The caller hung up as soon as I answered. I did a quick search of the number and found several scam alerts. Be aware and don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.

Caller had name and wanted confirmation of don supposedly to qualify for pensioners rates to reduce costs of household repairs .

Very slick, found out where my child goes and said 'headmaster will call you yo thank you'......then start pressurising payment over the phone and calling back daily. Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

Fraud Offers a discount for being a 'loyal' customer... They send you a link from three website to reset your memorable info then say it will take 24 hours to complete but if you give them your password now they can verify it now. Never give anyone your password BEWARE!!!!!!!
