Constant calls with slight variations on the number. I've been called 3 times today already. One call on my mobile yesterday and one on land line. I was being offered an inspection of insulation in my loft. Number is now blocked on mobile phone.

Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.
Mechanical voice says my Amazon Prime subscription will auto renew unless I press 1. As I do not have Amazon Prime I assume it is a scam. Pressing 1 will probably be a premium rate number or a scammer phishing for info.

SCAM received a call from this number this morning. It was a message claiming to be from "your bank", stating that there was a withdrawal of money from my account, asking me to call back to "confirm the transaction". It's another scam, just hang up. DO NOT CALL THEM.

We received a call from 0141 555 4854 with a recorded message telling us of unauthorised transactions on our card? One was £300 for Amazon and then £1, something (I lost the will at this time). I could press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to the team. I have hung up ad blocked the number.but I know they can change the number to show anything they like. Guy was very well spoken, good English but came across as very forceful/aggressive. Beware of engaging in any conversation.
