I didn t pick up. I had a trial membership with myheritage which I used for 2 days and cancelled. They insist on having your phone number as part of their sign up ID check. I assume they called to try and talk me into taking a membership.
Rang my mobile asking to speak to my mum refused to give them my house phone number as sure it was a scam as the energy company would not ring someones daughter if it was them. Do not give them your house number as they would have it in records.

Pretending to be from Sky and asking if everything was ok with my service before telling me that my breakdown service has ended and that I paid £156 last year for the service, but he can give me a discount and for 1 year it would be £120 and for 2 years it would be £170. I told him 2 years sounded like a good deal (even though I never had a breakdown service with sky). I asked a simple question to him to confirm he is from Sky and it was “Can you tell me my name”. He hung up at this point.
