A real person calling claiming to act on behalf of an insurance company, interested in an RTA that I was involved in within the last three years that wasn't my fault. You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. Silent call Some heavy breathing, lol!! Apparently from “Leeds Tank”????!! Said: “the office is now(14.30pm) closed, please ring again between 9am and 5pm”. Putting this in the “rude comedy scam” label. It CANNOT SURELY be a genuine bona fide call. I suspect the “Closed at UK time 14.30” aspect makes it a foreign caller, disguised: SUSPICIOUS!!

Yep, same thing happened to me. One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. I wish these filthy Paki bastards would just fuck off and die!

As yet I haven't received a call from this number but during another call from 01252 710611- most definitedly a scam regarding Amazon Prime - I was asked to call this London number to veryify my account. Naturally I did not . Hope this helps.

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Someone has been calling me from this phone and several other numbers similar to this, the person keeping telling me about earning extra income. I have done many things to dissuade them from calling to no avail. I have even insulted them, still they wont stop.
Lady with English accent saying she was an energy advisor for my area, calling from an "energy hub" (whatetever that might be). When I managed to stop her (clearly reading from a script) I aksed her precisely what organisation she was calling from. She went silent and hung up.

This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.
