Called saying me or someone in household had been in an accident

home improvement company from Braintree. he had my name and i asked him if i had requested a call. he said it was his job to call me as part of his job. I said that it was a cold call and it was his company job not to ask him to call me especially as i am registered with the tps.He knows exactly what he is doing and he knows my right to say no to cold calls. Since this call was going nowhere he ended it because if you do not answer this survey all they have is your name and number to pester you another day

I got call from this number today but when I answered nobody responded however I could tell it was a call centre type call from the background noise/voices

Nasty pieces of work. It is nasty people from Unite, that so-called trade union who are notorious in the (TV and radio) news for selling out clients to 3rd parties, colluding with employers of their own membership, and selling s**t like stannah stair lifts, private health insurance, Unite s own credit card, enhanced legal services for divorces, deaths of kids and other stuff nobody asked for. They hang up, when challenged for their surnames and call centre location.

Auto message started "Please hold........" I hung up. Getting realy annoyed at cold callers and auto callers. I am on Telephone Preference Scheme and they still call. Even after I tell them politely I am on TPS and to remove my number. Further calls from the same number I am less polite too. Sooner or later I may reach the stage where I will only have the last resort of blowing a whistle down the line to see if that stops them.

I receive calls from this number on my mobile, home phone and work phone, they purport to be from Lloyds Bank, they ask for your date of birth and postcode, I ask them who they are, and what it is about, they say it is a personnel banking matter, I ask them to tell me more in general terms, they tell me to contact my bank, i tell them I have, I then ask them to stop calling me and remove me from their data base and to write instead . Did not believe who they were so i called the real Lloyds Bank, they had

Cold call which started playing a script about the cold caller being pressured to read script. Obviously trying to get me to sympathise with cold caller. I hung up before finding out what they were trying to push. Probably PPI

called to ask about some debts which I am allegedly paying off. Told them they had wrong number and the instantly hung up

Thats twice now and the caller hangs up as soon as you answer. Boring.
