Human caller, unwanted. Claimed to have “assisted you with a XYZ policy some years ago”. But couldn’t get our surname right! I normally avoid all 0161 numbers these days because they all seem to be unwanted but was handed this call without checking. I realise that there are legitimate callers from the Manchester area but none of these have called me in the last few years. Thanked the caller and rang off. They didn’t ring back!
Dodgy number. Don’t know how they knew I called Hmrc yesterday. Can’t be a coincidence. Accidentally rang back and didn’t hear ring tone so hopefully won’t get charged.

This number is costing me £2.50 every time I receive a text from them, but I have never contacted them or subscribed to anything!!! 02 wont do anything as its a third party and I've tried sending a "stop" message as 02 told me to, to no avail. Few weeks ago I had a London Area coded number call me, the usual "Hi there I believe you've had a car accident in the last 2 years, I never said anything and just hung up, ever since I get 2 or 3 calls a week from London numbers which when I answer theirs just a silence and the calls dropped straightaway, this is one of those numbers
Number contacted my mum and asked to speak to her and when she replied "Depends on whom is speaking" they replied with "It doesn't depend on who is speaking!" Nuisance call and need to learn customer service ????
