Fraud I recently registered a company with companies house (2 days ago). This number called me with the new company registration number then claimed to be the electricity company and wanted to update bank records. Absolute rubbish, fraudulent call.
SCAM I had a scam call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse (020 3786 2238 - also being reported as a scam number) and asked for a number to call back on, they gave me this number. They tried to sell me a phone upgrade.

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. This was on my bill, a call I made. This website incorrectly labels it as from 'Viet Nam Hanoi', which made this information very worrying, and I mark 'Who called me UK' as 'ANNOYING and Worrying'.. It is Machine Mart Gloucester, for my order 'click and collect' information, costed on my bill as 7 pence per minute. Slightly annoying, but worth sticking to email contact with MM as it cost me 34.8p for what was about a 1/4 minute call, so some must be a connection charge.

07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.
Called to speak to someone else. Told him no-one of that name ever lived here, and I considered his call to be a nuisance call. He then had the audacity to try a sales pitch! Slammed receiver down. Tried to return call to make a complaint, but constantly engaged. Www says company is bogus, so beware!
