SCAM - A recording tells the person that the HMRC are going to take legal action and ask the person to click on a number.
Called on my mobile, automated voice saying they are from my bank but didn't mention Which one saying they'd noticed large amounts coming out of my visa account. As I don't have a visa card I knew It was a scam. It was quite believable though. I might have pressed 1 as instructed

Fraud Recorded message from "Bank Security" about two fictitious charges on my card.
Trusted to answer as it's a number local to me. Turned out to be an automated message claiming to be from VISA payments to say that my card had been charged £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union, encouraged me to press 1 to dispute charges. Decided it was going to be a phishing scam and hung up.

I had a message from this number saying hi mum I’ve dropped my phone, can you message me on this number. I replied asking who it was. Then got a WhatsApp saying hi mum it’s Jenny are you busy. I don’t know this person, and suspected a scam, so I blocked the number.

I have twice received calls last week from somebody (Roger, I think) claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. He first asked for somebody who has not worked here for several years. I asked him to send the new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request and claimed it was impossible. SCAM, I rcvd a call from a guy who claimed he was from BT and that we had a problem with our line etc. Sadly for him we have nothing to do with BT and when I confronted him & had a go at him and asked him never to call our number again he called me a ba.....rd.
