Number had hung up by the time I got to the phone (about 5 or 6 rings). Checked my phone contacts and it isn't a number that's called me before or one I have called.

Called and hung up... so very likely a cost-trap scam.

Auto dialing not talking against Ofcom rules.Possible that they mention Boiler Replacment Scheme run by the Goverment Do it the calls that is over aperiod of time then they try again hoping people forget them. LIke other phishng units. Do Not TELL ANYTHING TO COLD CALL legit or ileagal.

First time it s a male calls my mum, then the second time it was a female calling my mum again on the phone which is so fucking annoying. Stupid peoples who makes phonecalls for no reason for scamming people s money is not fair to anyone. They should be in jail for a long time.

01189055000 is their phone number and the manager as stated above is noel dinsmore report this company and ring and complain to get your number wiped off their records.

They probably instigate all the silent nuisance calls you receive so they can tell you that you are being annoyed by nuisance calls. So of course if you pay them they may stop making the nuisance calls. Otherwise known as a protection racket which is certainly illegal.
