Someone called me from this number and asked me if I was "my own name". I stupidly confirmed it and then confirmed my email address. They started telling me about an iPad that I had won. <> <> <>
Then followed a lot of swearing on my part before they hung up.
Next time, if someone asks who I am, I ll ask who they are before hanging up.
My National Insurance number is about to be suspended due to fraudulant activity blah blah blah.

SPAM Don't answer & block. This way my most recent call from a raft of UK geographic numbers purportedly calling on behalf of Carphone Warehouse. As per my last similar call I politely requested to be removed from their database, to which the caller told me to shut up and F**k-off then hung up. Best avoided

Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. The wording was slightly suspect but the link provided did look like the EE website. I phoned EE directly, it is a phising scam. The website is a fake and they want you to put your details in.
