Caller purported as acting as 3rd party for a Finance Company which I have just used (so far so good). Wasn t happy when started to ask for relatively minor details (address/post code) so caller advised not prepared to discuss further. This is fraud call. Ria Durms pretend to call from three mobile. and her supervise used fake name "David" and try to speak in British accent but I can clearly figure out that he is an Asian guy. Also, they are asking for Full name, Date of birth, Address & Bank detail. I gave fake name and they verified it as they have record in their system which proves that the call is fraud.

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

As soon as you answer they hang up. Best to BLOCK the number once you called from it otherwise they will call back.
SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.
