I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Somehow, prank calls giving this number have been coming to my business mobile. They are obviously being done randomly as only workmates know the number and none of them would be stupid enough to call late at night as has happened. Very annoying and could lead to a business call being missed.
