Scam! Making out he was from Ryanair!!! Wanted me to sceeen record online bank! Wanted my bank card details for no reason I was about to give my NatWest card and he said do you have a Monzo card!!!! Not sure if it is a scam, but concerned they knew my name, and what domestic appliances I have. We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details. Told them I don't need their insurance as would by new if beyond economic repair, and the caller seemed surprised that I could fix a recent washing machine problem myself. 02036109310 SCAM I believe, Claimed to be Edward from virgin media about my firewall protection...was very keen to want to send me something on my mobile. He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?

Call received 07.58 on a Saturday morning. They spoke and when I answered they immediately hung up.

someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.
