Cold called today from this number saying they were given our road traffic accident details by NFU to settle the remainder of money owed to me under a Discomfort payment, even though there was no personal injuries in the accident. Even though I asked the lady why NFU would instruct them to call me to say I am owed money when our claim was completely settled is totally absurd, she continued to say no we are entitled to between £3k-4k as the claim threshold of £350 was exceeded. After a car accident, where we were not the guilty party, they kept ringing us promising us all kinds of compensation payouts. They kept on ringing, even though we refused and asked not to be rung again. They were fairly clever on the phone, and systematically shifty, pretending to be a neutral advice line, rather than selling stuff, in this case legal advice. Irritating pests.
