Spam call have blocked the number

So far I ve received two calls from this number within 24hrs after an online enquiry for broadband & phone with EE. I was just "shopping around" for a better deal. I don t think I ll bother to look any further now if this is what s going to happen as a result, with endless and unauthorised telesales calls. As a rule, I don t answer calls on my landline anyway - exactly because of this kind of problem from telesales companies. My telephone answer machine does that for me on the "answer only" option an

Called me multiple times today. No message left.

Impersonating a police officer is actually a criminal offence. Reckons I was caught using my phone by static camera, told him where to go and suggested he uses local officers to knock on my door. Now blocked.

Asked for me by name required about a ppi claim. They knew my address.They had to ask me which bank it was thru. And very stupidly I gave him my date of birth. If nothing else they are fishing for information to make an identity theft from unsuspecting people.

A woman who introduced herself as an employee of FEA marketing wanted me "advise"

Had a call to say if I didn,t call back straight away I would be hearing from a solicitor, definite scammers!

Person called this Morning saying that he was "Nature`s Health Care" he wanted to know if I was `sheilding`. I took number and did not call back.

They called my mobile and left a message for me to phone with meter readings (even though I sumitted them on-line in last 30 days). They get paid for each reading, without them collecting it. So my energy provider has increased costs(passed onto the customer) to receive something they already have. I ll save costs for me and my provider by submitting on-line.
