This is a regular call I receive, but first time from this number. I don't have an Amazon Prime Account and that is why they use this method as they hope I will press #1 or, a new twist, #2. Obviously, Amazon would not make such a call.

Called on our TPS registered line from a predictive dialler (i.e. we pick up the phone, say "Hello" and give our company name, then there is silence until the call is actually connected with a sudden burst of call-centre noise and a voice says "Hello?"). Claimed to be calling "On behalf of The Trade Directory", yadda-yadda-yadda. Hung up after a few seconds, as couldn t be bothered to listen to yet another heavily-accented drone stumbling through his script at us, down a crackly VoIP line from Mumbai.

I said, this call is being recorded, I neither know who you are or from whom you bought my number but as I am registered with tps you are breaking all regulations on Telecommunications now what do you want?
