SCAM Automated robot voice saying from HMRC about tax fraud
This number finally spoke up after a few silent calls, the male caller claiming to be from, of all places, telephone preference service. Supposedly I needed to renew my registration. He read out my name and address, but what of it? Then said I pay my phone bill by direct debit - what's that got to do with tps?. Eventually he got round to saying that the card I'd used previously (tps doesn't charge) expired this year, which was where I cracked and called him out.

SCAM - Indian speaker. My TV repair cover must be renewed now! I don't have sky or tv insurance. He did not like being quizzed about where he was calling from, suspect India?
We were called today 22nd August at 09.08 from 01432 445666 can you tell me who called please?
Took ages to find out what they wanted (survey on utilities?) as the caller was reluctant to give out this information and also not a native English speaker, they had my name, address and phone number so I didn t know at first if it was legitimate. Don t know how they got my details. I said I didn t have time for a survey.
