This is a spam call from people purporting to be from BT Openreach advising there is a problem with my broadband connection. This is the fourth call I've had in a fortnight, all from different numbers, all callers with strong Asian accent and totally unable to deviate from the script they have in front of them. Had 2 calls from this number claiming that there was a tax fraud investigation involving my name and telling me to press number 1 on my keypad to speak to the officer dealing with my case. Obviously I did no such thing and so have no idea what sort of scam is being operated or what possible benefit there could be to anyone had I actually complied with the request. I've now blacklisted this number on my phone.
