Got a missed call on my mobile, with no message, I tried to call back. They left me hanging on the line for what seemed ages.
The call came from 0333 202 9434 but the message said to call British Gas urgently on 0121 6290765. These are the pit bulls that British Gas set on business customers who s gas bills aren t paid within a week. It s not a scam but they are very annoying, persistent and a bit clueless.
Called asking me to submit a meter reading and don t forget to have your house number and postcode ready - oh yeah ok will do FRAUDSTER! Want to get innocent people s details with dishonest methods DO NOT TRUST
Came up as a Dereham number claiming to represent a legal firm and asking about an accident I ve not had. When I argued with the girl (Liverpool accent) she said that with my attitude I d receive a lot more similar calls! Sure enough in the next 5 minutes I got 2 more from completely different numbers, this time in Scotland so clearly they are scammers of some kind and the stupid cow was too daft to realise that her actions merely proved their status as scammers.

I m registered with the telemarketing industry to not receive cold calls but still receiving them from this number. Several times I have told them to remove my phone number from their database - their response is either to hang up straight away or to hang up after swearing at me
