Called asking about energy bills. As we've had several calls recently about the same thing, I asked them to take us off their list as we're signed up to the CTPS. Ryan, whom I spoke to, and who had been shouting when I answered the phone, got defensive and asked "what's that got to do with it?" When I explained again, he said it was almost like I had "two golden balls"...?!?!
Recorded message saying that my Amazom Prime subscription will auto-renew at the end of the month; please press 1 to speak to a manager. 1. Although I have bought from Amazon, I do NOT have an Amazon Prime account. 2. This number, on the EE network, cost up to 13p a minute (plus set up fee) from a landline and up to 55p from a mobile. This may be a scam call or just a money-making racket; generating income from lengthy return calls. Do not answer this call and block it!

Silent call, line disengaged as soon as I answered. Today at my place of work i have received at least half a dozen automated or silent calls. I am heartily sick of them, they are a nuisance and a disruption.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel
SCAM Automated voice, called saying that I had been involved in tax fraud and if I don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor, I would be arrested shortly. I am yet to be arrested!
