Harrased with SMS about PPI claims, brand new phone only activated three days ago with Vodafone. Not sure how they got our number unless Vodafone gave it out as I know these scam companies but mobile numbers for ?5 per number. Reported to ICO and TPS.
An automated message was played that the were calling from National Crime agency regarding suspicious activity on my NI account, and that my NI number and account will be closed and any assets I have frozen, and asked to press option 1 to speak to an officer, I did not press it!!!

Many calls from this number and a dozen others, one at half midnight. On the occasions I did answer they gave the name NCS Legal. I asked them to stop calling, explaining I was registered with TPS. The only thing that worked was lying to them by saying the insurance company had already fully compensated me - there was no money to be claimed. Miraculously the calls then stopped. I ve complained via TPS. Please consider also complaining, TPS or OfCom. Hopefully eventually they ll get landed with a good size

She gave me this number to ring and was very forceful that i contact this number to claim my money. She also asked me to provide my bank details for a credit transfer. Do not call this number as it is a scam.

The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!
