Unknown number & I don’t answer unknown numbers, nor do I answer from numbers not in my contacts… Can find no information on this number so will have assume a call centre/telemarketing based in Manchester, I don’t know anybody in Manchester either….

Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.
Recorded message I assume it to be a scam.

Called today at 11:38 Electronic message to say that I’ve not renewed my Amazon Prime subscription and they’ve deducted £96 from my account. If this is incorrect press 1 Dadidadida…… Hung up. I am not a Prime member and they don’t have my card. It’s a scam to get your money. Don’t do it. Wish these numbers could be blocked like on mobiles.
I didn't answer and they rang off when the answer phone cut in.
