Rang twice in 20 mins claiming he was carphone warehouse, told me my contract was up for review with O2 , find that hard to believe seeing I’m with another network.definitely a attempt to scam
Text received from this number stating that I had set up a new payee and if this hadn’t been done by me to follow the link attached. I hadn’t set up a payee and was afraid to follow the link. Suspect this is fraudulent.
I keep getting calls on this number 01206592026, then they hang up. I have now blocked the number because it's becoming a nuisance.
SCAM Halifax Alert with link
Barclays SCAM! Claimed that they were calling in relation to fraudulent activity on my account, but I soon got suspicious when they asked me to "confirm" my debit card details. They asked me if I insured my car with a company called "Alan's Motors", but when I said I thought I did they actually tried to convince me that I didn't. Overall, FRAUDULENT number, do not give any details to this number! SCAMMERS!
