18 Oct 2021 - cheeky git tried threatening me with court . Claiming was calling from HMRC and i owed tax. Asked him to confirm when its for and turns out it was 2020, well i, along with a lot of the population was on furlough. I basically argued its HMRCs responsibility to calculate what i pay so its not my fault. Ive had no communication in the post and he will have to take me to court. Received a call from a gentleman with a welsh accent, he said they had dealt with me before regarding a ppi package bank account. The name he gave was McCann something or other. I said I don t think so as I have never heard of the company before. He said it was a long time ago. I said I think I would have remembered and besides I already have someone else dealing with this at the moment. He then went on to ask me about pensions, he said he had my name on their data base so I said well I have already had one

I ve had so many rubbish calls per day that I only answer my mobile. I wait till the phone stops ringing then get No. from 1471 if they have it. Half the time : "caller with held his No." I don t know if my present entry helps. I get these 10 to 15 times a day!..
Several calls from this number recently, two so far today. First was a computer logging pickups, then within a few minutes was called again from a call centre (noise in background). Scumbags trying to make money out of the unsuspecting. Blow a whistle down the phone at them and see if they can help themselves.
