SCAM HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.

My mum received the samemail message. It s definitely a scam. We don t use lawsuits in the UK or wish people a blessed day. If anyone owes herculean believe me they will write to you. Not leave a phone message. I best fake Britain programme would be interested in this.
DEFINITE SCAM... Called repeatedly and eventually I answered. Claimed to be from HSBC "Payment and Prevention Team" querying two suspicious payments on my account this...
