Got a phone call from this unknown number which I didn t answer. Then started getting text messages enquiring after my welfare.

Fraud. Claiming to be HMRC using scare tactics to encourage people to call back probably to extort money. Phone voice is American recorded voice. Please do not fall for this scam.

Annoying persistent caller. Finally picked up and the caller claims it was the first time he tried ringing. Probably a call center number that can't be blocked.
Caller said he was from Quote Protect and that my life insurance policy had not been reviewed for 6 months. He addressed me by a false name I had given to a scammer some time ago. He was able to give my correct address. When asked he told me his company was based in Oldham. He gave me an address in Piccadilly Gardens. There is no such address in Oldham but there is one in Central Manchester. When I said I was on TPS he said it did not apply as I "had ticked the box". When I said that would have been 40 year

I received a worrying call from this number. They rang me. I missed the call. When I rang back they denied phoning me, shouted at me, told me no one was there and hung up. I reported it to the police.
