I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

Just been contacted by this number,claimed to be from(cooperative energy)asking for an up to date reading of my meters.I normally supply them online at the beginning of the month(which is only 2 days away) I gave them the readings and then they asked if they were located inside or outdoors.They also asked if they were accessible to an engineer should they need to call???????? Recorded message received today, 11 Oct. 2012. Started "Do not hang up" and claimed to be a Public Information message about a Government scheme to "write off 100 per cent of your debt" by next year. Already beneath contempt, this outfit is using a premium rate number (if I m not mistaken) - and as I am the first to mention this number on this site, we can all look forward to a lot more of it.
Call when delivering in the area. Trustworthy number - just did not recognise it.
