I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Scam calls, usually related to Crypto. These people have been harassing me for over a year due to the previous owner of my phone number having filled out an inquiry on their website. They call from numbers generated in the UK and across Europe/Asia. The number is not in service when you try to call it back.

07830 365069 Automated response saying that I'd joined the conference, then I had been removed from the conference. Called back to find out who it was but heard an automated response saying this number is not receiving calls and to try later.

I called them they said they will need to take me through the process of cancellation which involved me being on the computer to fill in the cancellation form.
