keeps calling to help us make a claim for a car accident that happened years ago, we informed them that the person involved in the accident passed away, but they still keep calling us , this should be illegal

After applying on-line for free replacement boiler I received an E-mail saying I would be contacted about my application for insulation grant!! then had call from this number and a man with an Indian accent asked if I was Mrs Simpson when I said no said he was from Nationwide Energy at which point I said no thank you and hung up. He was not calling from the company I was told would contact me nor had I applied for an insulation grant.
