Called immediately asking me how many loans, credit cards I had and how many I d made payments on in the last 12 months, didn t introduce themselves nothing but had my name and tried to act as if it was a personal call, blocked their number now.
Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and there is a warrant for your arrest. They say don't hang up phone call otherwise they will record that you tried to run away from arrest and they will be waiting at your place of residence until you arrive to arrest you. With the pandemic, lots of people have had trouble paying tax, so it might seem real, but this is a scam. They will always give you a chance to work out a payment plan. Avoid, block.

I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. Hope this helps. I sent a letter of complaint to David Rushton the company director who agreed in writing to pay my full deposit back by October. This hasn t happened so I have contacted my credit card company who are working on this. Also you can complain to the legal ombudsmen www.legalombudsman.org.uk or call 0300 555 0333. Good luck!

SCAM Kept 'Morgan' on the line for 12mins while he told me he was from 'Carphone Warehouse Company' and offered an iPhone 13 for £35. He hung up when I asked what city he was in. Number called again a minute later, so I answered with "Hello, Dartford CID"; it hung up!
