A young man, purporting to be from a home insulation firm, said he was calling those in my postcode area to discuss insulation. When I demanded that he tell me the post code he politely rang off. Very dodgy, in my view
My partner received a call from this number who said they were from Microsoft and there is a problem with our computer which needs fixing, would she log on. She replied no as this is obviously a scam and did they think she was stupid. She was then subject to a tirade of abuse saying we are all f***ing stupid etc. This was a very distressing call for anyone to receive never mind a vulnerable or elderly person who could be intimidated into following their instructions.. SCAM Claims they are Resolvcall and need to speak to me "urgently". Haven't a clue why they're phoning but they phone constantly. Have now ended up having to block their calls and texts. They have even turned up at my door looking for someone who doesn't live at my address - have checked my credit rating and there is nothing in this.
