The caller said his name was Terrence from Frank Gallo solicitors he then gave me the website his 5 digit employee number and then also gave me a 5 digit reference number. He said I had been miss-sold loans he said about 10 different companies which raised a flag, he said I was due compensation and they would claim the money from me. Nuisance call from someone suggesting that the warranty on my 16 year old washing machine has expired and needs to be renewed. Phishing for people to pay for a warranty on a washing machine purchased in 2006 is a scam to steal money from unwary recipients.
SCAM 01482680047 pretending to be from the police to gather feedback and follow up an incident that had happened, this case was closed weeks ago so I knew this was a scam straight away. Looks as though the scammers have accessed the police database. They started the call with saying the call was recorded and I needed to consent to GDPR.
