My number was obtained as a previous customer - nothing fishy about the call, just sales and feedback.
SCAM Claimed to be BT. Tell you have junk downloaded to your router and ask you to download AnyDesk and give them the 9 digit code (this basically enables them access to your device). If it was actually BT, just say you'll call back on official BT number

When i answer this call they ask for me by name, I confirm that s me, but then the call goes silent! After a few seconds I get that "BT lady" saying the caller ended the call. I don t think they mean to hang up, I d guess thier computer system does it by accident. when I looked up the number I found a plumber in Scotland! Im in Peterborough, so I doubt it s that.

SCAM Claimed to be ringing from BT. Didn’t give his name, American accent. Said our server wasn’t secure and we needed to log on to our computer. Really!! When I rang back it said it was an incorrect number.

Caller hung up immediately after calling. After I called back 3 times the caller answered and said they were trying to call a friend and hadn t realised I d answered the phone. Lots of people on the telephone in the background, sounded like a call centre. Don t answer and block the number
