I live with/am a carer for my mum who is in the early stages of alzheimers. Got a call from this number asking for her by name, I said who is speaking? , got a mumbled name and then asked to confirm my (correct) postcode. I said I wouldn t confirm or deny it until they told me who they were, they hung up on me. It sounded like a very busy call centre, and there was the long pause between me saying hello and them answering that suggests they re dialling multiple numbers at a time. All very suspicious, and s

SCAM I don't know where or how these people have been getting my number. I can only assume its from recent fake job applications. INDIAN call centre scammers.
Automated call saying my NI number has been used fraudulently. Obviously a scam call as I am pretty sure the HMRC would have sent me a letter if this were true. I didn't listen to it all just in case they were charging my mobile.
