Calling from some kind of bank offering investment, blocked the number but called me 5 more times

Fraud. This number called saying that they were from amazon asking to confirm my order. I’d not ordered anything and when pressured they hung up.
Ring me several times each day. Silence if I pick up the phone. I called the no back to complain. Recorded message said it is call centre and sells mortgages and does not accept calls.

Caller addressed me by a false name which I had given to a previous cold caller. He said he was calling about a government scheme to reduce debt. He said it was an IVA and wouldn t affect my credit rating. I asked who he worked for and he said Money Direct in Manchester. He said they were registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). He said he was calling from SE Asia, He asked me about my debts. I invented a few "outstanding" credit card debts and told him I was struggling to pay off the cards.
