SCAM santander, has link to log into account and message states illegal log in tried, not you then "link" to stop account being accessed. DO NOT PUT DETAILS INTO THE LINK. IT US A SCAM. Use your internet or phone banking to speak with the bank.

SCAM text saying ‘My phones broke mum I have a new number……message me on WhatsApp please it’s urgent’ Probably will ask for money next.
Recvd call from this number on Work mobile. Didn't answer. Called back a few minutes later. Does not accept i/c. Strongly suspect Scammer
SCAM Caller (Asian Accent) purported to be from OpenReach. When challenged the caller hung up.

Claimed to be from RBS credit card fraud in relation to an SMS NHS Covid phishing attempt on my phone. Appeared plausible and had some detailed info on my account transactions, however, when calling the number on back of my card, they said they had no record of a call from RBS. Suspect they were trying to obtain additional information to also obtain on line banking log in.
Insulation. Wouldnt say who they really were. Used to use 0202 numbers. Pains in the neck
Claiming to be from Microsoft to say they have detected hacking on a computer, which is not switched on (not plugged in to a power supply). He threaten to cancel the Microsoft Licence Number saying - that Microsoft would not support the product and the computer could no longer be used!

They claim to be from Sky Im in contract with but this will be for TV package Sky may have passed details to a call centre but be warned theyll try every trick in the book if they get a hook

Full handset displayed number 000918045705737. Claimed my debit card had been hacked and debited £600. Provided options 1 or 2 to pursue further. I rang off and checked bank account. No sign of transaction. Scam till proved otherwise.
