Answered the caller but it said goodbye end of call strangely weird
As with other review, cold caller knew my name & kept referring to "second income".
Have called me 3 times saying they were from EE. Stated that as a loyal EE customer I'm entitled to a 40% discount. However I don't use EE and told the Asian Gentlemen that. He them asked for my current provider. I asked him why? No answer and I then hung up

Answered, no response to my hello, so I hung up. Probably another sales call or worse.
Contacted by a person from a dating site saying they were female and from a village near bangor. I do not know if this is genuine but i suspect not.
Recording said from Amazon and reported suspicious activity on my account. Said they had put purchase on hold. In fact this is a genuine number from a Joinery business in Thanet. Blocked.
Hubby received a message asking if that was Mr Andrew on WhatsApp, dodgy looking person on icon, probably off Google, blocked and now reporting.

More at britishgas.co.uk/covid19'' Received on my wife's fon which British Gas do not have. Logged onto British Gas App to book a service and the next available was 03 March 2023. POSSIBLE
Claimed to be life insurance and knew both my parents names but when I asked them they didn’t know who he was claimed to be Tom from venisure, or something like that, but I don’t think it’s trustable and is a potential scammer preying on the older generations
SCAM automated message claimed that a payment had been made on my credit card ‘to a foreign country’. Do not respond.

Silent call
HSBC mortgage department. Not a scam or fraudulent in any way. The fraud department confirmed this for me.
AMAZON - being charged 79.99 and need to speak to a rep!
SPAM Said she was from BT and my router had sent messages that it was running slow. She wanted me to switch on my computer to put it right. I knew better than to do that, told her I would get in touch with my provider to put it right
