SCAM / SPAM Claiming to be HMRC - caller requesting me to call back
Just got a missed call from these guys at 6:55pm 2nd September. Turns out they ve tried to call me 4 other times before, stretching back a while. They seem to call me on the first and/or last working day of the month? Strange and annoying. From these other comments I m glad I ve never answered. I m on PAYG too and I am not interested in "deals" no matter who is calling! Blocked the number.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based, Indian company masking the no to a local city!!
